Is your sign ADA compliant?

ADA Signage has several characteristics that are required for approval under the guidelines.

Contrast

Your sign must have to have a 70% contrast from the background color to the color of the raised copy.

Finish

The paint finish on your sign must be an eggshell finish.

Raised Copy

The raised copy has to be a minimum of 1/32” raised from the base of your sign.

Braille

The braille must be 1/16” diameter at it’s base and the top of the dots have to be perfectly domed.
